Snap Shots, new funcionality

Posted by Augusto Triste on November 2nd, 2007

I just installed a nice little tool on my website called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you “look ahead,” before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.

Should you decide this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out. Give me some feedback!

Yahoo Pipes Mashup

Posted by Augusto Triste on October 25th, 2007

Hi guys, i recently create a mashup using yahoo pipes, basically is a feeds search bar and you search feeds related to hardware, computing and games, por example if you type intel on the search box and then click run pipe, the pipe will look for rss feeds all related to intel and will return back the matches from tomshardware.com, bit-tech.net, digit-life.com, engadget.com, guru3d.com and hardwaresecrets.com, you can do the same search for games or any computer peripheral. Have a look at my mushup here!
